Welcome to the homepage of the Seismology Group at Goethe University Frankfurt!
The Seismology Group specializes in various seismological topics, including volcano seismology, environmental seismology, seismic tomography and anisotropy, and methodological development. Our research involves conducting both local and remote fieldwork, using modern AI-based techniques to analyze large datasets, and performing wavefield modeling and inversion.
We are also dedicated to teaching and educating the next generation of geophysicists and seismologists.
